Originally constructed in 1900 as three single family residences, Gerald's Place has been remodeled in to two triplexes and a fourplex.  All units are self contained with one full bath (shower over tub). Several have views, especially in the winter, after trees shed their leaves.  Most have natural woodwork, built-ins with leaded glass, antique light fixtures, leaded and bay windows.  Tenants pay electricity (baseboard heat) and cable.  Owner pays water, sewer, garbage (and, in the fourplex, electricity for hot water).   There is a coin-operated laundry room.

 

There is ample curb-side parking.  Pierce Transit Route 13 (North 30th Street) is one block away on Tacoma Avenue North; several other bus routes are within a couple of blocks, as is Stadium Thriftway & Wright Park.

 

301 is the main floor of the corner triplex.  A 1200 s.f. two bedroom unit, it features oak floors, natural woodwork, built-in cabinets, fireplace and laundry.  Front and back porches add another 200 s.f.  Some views.

 

303A is a 450 s.f. one bedroom on the second floor.   Some views. 

 

303B is a 900 s.f. two bedroom unit on the second and third floors.  Bedrooms, with quaint nooks and crannies, are on the third floor and have great views of the city, Mount Rainier and Commencement Bay. 

 

305A is an 800 s.f. one bedroom, the lower level of the G Street triplex.  Pocket door, lots of natural woodwork and built in cabinets, leaded bay windows, colorful play room, front and back porches.

 

305B, an 800 s.f. one bedroom, is on the second floor.  Lots of natural woodwork, pocket door, refinished wood floors, front and back porches.  On clear days the Olympics can be seen from the back porch

 

305C is the quaint attic, a 700 s.f. one bedroom with cathedral ceilings.  Ceramic tile add charm to the bath and kitchen. Lofty views, especially from the sitting porch.

 

613 is a 725 s.f. one bedroom, the lower right unit of the fourplex. 

 

615 is the upper right unit of the fourplex, a 575 s.f. one bedroom.  It has lots of storage and quaint corners.  City, Bay and Mount Rainier views.

 

617 is a 575 s.f. one bedroom, the upper left unit in the fourplex.  Recently renovated, it has city and Mount Rainier views.

 

619 is the lower left fourplex unit, a 700 s.f. one bedroom.

 

Tenants are asked to keep noise to a level that does not disturb neighbors.  No smoking permitted anywhere on the property.
